And the value contrast establishes the mysterious atmosphere in a very effective way!!
The details you have given doesn't lack anything at all. It's just perfect at its perfectest to my eyes.
I can clearly see that the figure on the upper side has a very intriguing eerie appearance.
And your compositional choice has even maximised that quality by deliberately juxtaposing that otherworldly figure and a earthy, delicate and fragile figure (I like her very thin hair texture so much, it really emphasises her fragility.
In addition, that hard top lighting is just wonderfully chosen to further accentuate each figure's quality (mysterious quality of the man by creating a deep shadow to his eyes; vulnerable quality of the lying woman by hard lighting her entire face and allowing the man's hand to be the only element that shadows her face in part).
