Gotta come up with a name for this lovely lady.Definately going to be part of the Carliverse. I love how she turned out. I hope y'all like her too.

After much ado about nothing, I finally chose names for this girl! Her name is Naomi-Aurora (the side wearing glasses in this pic/right side) and Naomi-Lila (the annoyed one/left side). It means "pleasant dawn" and "pleasant dusk", which I thought would be a pretty name pairing.

Yes. Naomi is not a conjoined twin, she is a specifically adapted twin-headed creature. She was born that way, as are all members of her race.

Obviously, I need to name them. I have this idea of a shared first name, hyphenated with a unique middle name. When I drew the country girl version, I joked about something like Mary-Jo and Mary-Sue.
So you could call them Mary collectively, or address them indivodually by the addition.
I just don't like many names that hyphenate well. =/

Ok, real talk. I actually had a conversation about this today because it does prompt quite a bit of "hrm?"
Ettin are born from normal ogres on a sort of random basis. In the past, this would have been regarded as some kind of curse, and probably a death sentence for mom, baby, or both. The ones that did survive probably would have had some kind of special status.
Im the modern world, "Oops, its an Ettin" would probably just result in "don't worry, we'll schedule the C-section" and no further cause for alarm. Buuut this is the modern world, so there will be that one crazy bitch posting videos on youtube of her all natural raw vegan dolphin assisted home freebirth talking about how she utilized reiki stones or some shit to squeeze a two headed toddler out of her.
Mechanically, the only way I imagine a two headed infant could be born safely is breech. Butt first, then one shoulder, arm out, one head, then the other, then the other arm last. They may even develop unevenly in the womb to facilitate such a maneuver, londa the same way the skull bones are jointed to allow some compression.
Its not going to be pretty, but I think its feasible this way. And ogres ate just a single head version, ao its reasonable to think they have the pelvic clearance for such an endeavour.
Ettins have the same roll to spawn an Ettin chance that Ogres do, but I'm going to stick with my old idea of them always having twins.
Hence, her bigness.
