Description
Hi!Been sick in bed this entire week, couldn't even find the energy to paint
Today I started feeling a bit better though, so I decided to paint something rough
It's just a sketch of a concept I had in my head for a while. I might detail it later, or do something similar from scratch, since I'm not happy with the composition and values on this one
Hope you like it, though !
Take care!
EDIT: Re-uploaded a refined version

Reminds me of a sketch they did for Hammerfell when TESO was still in early development stage. I really like this one!Β

This is fantastic, it reminds me of Guild Wars 2 artwork, a little.
The image quality looks good, too.

The scene does invite interest as to what the story is.

I love it ! The grandeur of the architecture, the figure of the captive, it really makes me want to see more of this world, more of the story, like how did she end up being prisoner and who is she, what is his world? Anyway, great job !

Do you have a process of this? Or a story how the traveling red-head got there?

Did you paint the background first? Certainly came out amazing, although it's not super pleasing to the eye.
I suppose for this kind of scenery, it doesn't matter if it's pretty or not.
Wonderful work though. I'm still trying to figure out how to paint, but I can't escape my constant need of line arts.

Just a question, is Redhead here a part of a story you have going on and these images are a reference to that, or is she just something like a signature that appears in a lot of you work?
Either way, she's interesting.

At first glance, with the enslavement and the red hair and all, I thought of Queen of the Damned

I'm glad you're feeling better. This is an amazing piece. The cityscape in the distance is fantastic, but the direct sunlight on the captive is a stroke of brilliance.
