This is wonderful. I love your detail in this. It makes me happy to be a Batman fan. I also like how you didn't make him obscenely big with muscles, although I think my favourite part is the flair you put on the shoulders of his cloak.

Hey thank you - this is definitely a fan favorite at shows with print sales. I went with more of the Neal Adams physique on him here - lean and mean! The cloak flair is sort of McFarlane-esque by the way

yeah i was curious, they were looking for a different style. no worries, i've been drawing for forever but now i'm really trying to push it and get better. too bad i like to write more, oh well haha.

Thank you very much - I have the detail bug! My challenge is pulling back enough to make sure the overall piece is working. It's something once I get going, I kind of 'zone out' and time means nothing as I'm detailing the heck out of areas in the piece. I'll often go to work at 8pm and think I've been at it for an hour or so, and look up and it's after midnight - d'oh! I have to be up out of bed by 5:30am to be at work the next morning - ha! Oh, I love being an artist with a day job....NOT!
