Description I write to pass the longest of the hours
The white across the page my pen devours
To write in verse you need to have three things
To make well sure your inner poet sings
The first is rhyme which buys you time to think
Syllables next to make your reader blink
But the hardest of them all to master
Can bring your noblest works disaster
Tis with meter that you must now compete
To ensure your works never then retreat.
