Description
The Void of InsanityThere will be a place where nothing is vulgar and everything is insanity
The cries of millions of innocents ring from within
Inside the circle of tortured screams my body is frail
My mind is a dream
A dream of lust and a dream of sorrow
Nothing exists without the attribute of insanity
If necessity is insanity and insanity is necessity then what is reality?
Nothing
Reality only exists in the minds of the frail
In the circle of shattered lives and souls there is only one who is free
And yet his freedom is limited
But only limited by what he has done to himself
Within the sphere there is a place of stone
A place of steel
A place of sacrificial beings in world in which few believe exist
where life is a fantasy and death the only reality
There is an alter in the center of this fantasy
An alter at which the lives of thousands have been taken
The lives of every form of human
No one is allowed to die an unnatural death
But then again to die of blood loss or lack of vital organs is natural here
The man in the center kills because he feels the need
What other excuse is necessary when he is God
Or Satan rather
For he is not the creator but the destroyer
The destroyer of others as well as himself
And when he lies bleeding from an open and empty chest cavity
He will reflect upon the lives of those he has taken
He shall feel no guilt or pain
Knowing that the void of his insanity
His blood lust
Was filled by the sacrifice of himself.

At first it seems like rambling, but then it comes together in a sad state of thought. The middle reminds me of Children of Dune or Dune itself. A series I am reading. Then the end is so hateful, so sad. the wording is spactacular for a first poem.

Most of my free verse tends to be kind of rambling. The meaning is hardly ever comprehended if you view them as a whole. Little bits of "wisdom" are kind of randomly distributed througout. Especially in this, my first, and as an 8th grader.
