I think it would be quite interesting to make something like this; an evolution chart of my fursona throughout the years! Here, you guys could get a glimpse of my history and changes in my art style! I did my best to recreate Orion's past designs from memory, and what's more is that I drew and shaded each respective design based on how they were intended from the originals! For example, Orion's 2008 design was drawn using ink pen (which you'll notice in the lineart) and colored pencils while his 2011 design was done in colored pencils only! I will make more charts having the rest of the later designs from 2012 to 2020 next time! Now comes the exciting part: The design breakdowns!

2008: We all have to start somewhere, right? This design was heavily inspired by the uniforms from the Star Fox series with the colors being two of my favorite colors, blue and green. His blonde hair was a nod to Link from the Legend of Zelda. I've added either a scouter or a visor for extra touches. His overall body design was typically based off many small rabbit cartoon characters that are seen on tv with the round thighs and long feet. All I had to give him was a white fur since I thought that any other fur colors would clash with one another. The cross-shaped black eyes was something I've thought of myself lol

2009: Retaining some features from 2008 such as his cross-shaped eyes and white fur, I thought it would be a good idea to let those stay for a while. However, his body structure had to be changed due to limited action-packed poses. I've also decided to remove most of his clothing to keep it simple. This time around, Sonic The Hedgehog had a major influence on this design in terms of body shape, shoes and gloves, only shorter and stubbier. My Melody from Sanrio was a factor in this development as well. I've decided to go with the generic blue and red colors which is the typical palette for many protagonists and heroes. His bizarre shaped hairstyle was the cherry on top thanks to yours truly, and this trademark feature lasted for a long time, seriously! XD

2010: Here we are, the beginning of the evolutionary staple design that lasted for years! Getting some ideas from one of my all-time favorite video game characters, Klonoa, I've wanted to stylize him up again with some new threads such as a blue baseball cap, a red shirt, blue shorts and much more flashy proportions. There was a balanced influence / inspiration of both Sonic the Hedgehog and My Melody in the mix as well. My Melody's influence involved mostly his face: His cross-shaped eyes were now changed to black circles (black arches when angry or looking cool). His nose was also changed from a pink triangle to a black oval. This foundation design is what changed my anthro drawing skills forever.

2011: Ah, the year of the rabbit and also the "golden age" of my fursona's design! ^_^ Not much is changed overall with the exception of a few things: Influences from My Melody started to fade while inspiration from both Klonoa and Sonic grew immensely stronger. Orion is also slightly taller, he now wears blue jeans instead of shorts, his eyes are wider and more slanted with stylization. Red shades were added over his eyes as well. His jacket is now long-sleeved with added extra small details like folds and threads. His torso, ergo his chest was enlarged to give him a more powerful appearance. In terms of poses and mannerisms, Spider-Man was a factor for these changes since I wanted to give Orion a much more superhero type of presence. ^_^
