Wow you are really talented...I always seem to have a hard time painting with the mouse in my PaintShopPro...the mouse sometime jerks around and its really difficult to draw nice lines and basic shapes....however I prefer to paint in reallife, using an actual brush and the likes...but thanks for this tutorial, Im going to try it out..

jocarra In reply to Luftherz [2005-07-19 23:27:36 +0000 UTC]
*nods* Painting with the mouse can be annoying, but it's possible to do great stuff with it nonetheless. I used to use low opacities to paint with mouse, but now I use low air pressure with air brush - it would work with mouse, too, though

Hehe, well, I gave alternatives for people who don't have tablets. You can try using low pressure airbrush, but you can also try using low opacity.

It's not a secret *LOL* Lots of people use this technique. I just was trying to elucidate the fact to people who might not know how simple it is.

daniii In reply to jocarra [2005-07-19 02:10:09 +0000 UTC]
It's a secret, don't you tell me it isn't!! XD
It's pretty simple, but I'm Photoshop ignorant so I shade by usign a dark purple/dark blue brush on low oppcaity and layering it.
