bkg is 3-d modeling paste stuff then graphite stick shaved over while kina wet fer look base creature if i recall pencills liquid graphite pencills--get darker parts-- an 2 colors kinda chalk like from my sketch kit

Oh, wow, I'm not too good at guessing stuff like that... um... it looks like maybe pencils and colored pencils, plaster of paris... something like posterboard?
