dos this comp look more mac or win?? usin fdlyakiteosx([link] ) one of my fave programs ever when i got this mediacenter not long ago its still to me concidered a hand-me-down comp butr had a sleepin issue that i fixed had a re-start issue that hasnt surfaced much sence couple outher issues(2nd fan kicks ion at times but i can handel that had lightscribe and i think couple outher things added)anywho sence addin flyakite i just about swear this thing has a littlke mac in it(not just look or feel which can still confuse me)

... I prefer to go with Linux; it's free and you download lots of free things for it that cost money in windows and mac. Plus only 2 viruses were ever made for linux... compared with microsoft's 60,000 est.

the question also then becomes which one with a graphic interface is perfect fer both me and this comp (i LOVE how macs look and act) the comp is a hp dv 6736 has a amd x2 dual core (liunx needs ta be able to optimise it) lets see 15.4 inch wide screen display (wolvix dosent like acouple of my monitors or maby it just didnt like my me i think afew outhers have that issue too) 2 gigs of ram its upgradable too an a 250 gig sata laptop hdd (before i GARONTEED put liunx on im gettin a new hdd so i dont loose anything)

As far as free... it's basically software that emulates commercial software for the most part, like Gimp. There are a few free commercial products though. Like Compiz-fusion. Just look it up on Youtube... you'll see. Plus, some games too. Like frets on fire... guitar hero for the computer keyboard. On Ubuntu, the first thing you are ever gonna do (after setting up the net... which is easy... just manually configure it then reboot) is to install art manager to view all the theme components including login screens, window borders, application window appearances, backgrounds and icons you can see and then install the ones you want and customize your desktop. Then install compiz (advanced desktop effects settings) but first you might wanna download Envy and work out your graphics card driver. Then for sound settings set it on OSS for everything... ALSA sucks. Reboot. and... goes off from there really. Just look at my desktop screenshot.

an i DOUBT ill become a serious buntu user ive tryied not a fan past "learnin" even then just not my thing ive tryied dsl an im soo glad i dont have my "whimpy whimpy whimpy" 98se comp instead ive this "hefty hefty hefty" comp (couldnt resist) so yea like i said before im a HUGE fan of the mac osses an i kinda like wolvix actually im kinda thinkin of grabbing hunter pulling bits from each earlighter version an yea get what i want (think slax or so based) i have atleast x-mas ta decide(if i use my new pod that voids the warranty my mom will get mad so yea--pod+liunx=voided warranty ive herd)

yeah, my friend did that Linux iPod thing. He likes it. Anyway, heres a kicker; KDE is a cool looking desktop enviroment. I think you can run it on windows too. Just have to figure it out...

an i dont doubt pods work in general with liunx osses just using the pod with liunx will void the warranty so i hear--consumerist was mentioned somewhere-- so im STUCK with crap till x-mas as thats when i got my 3rd gen nano the 1st gens warranty is PAST up so no warrying about it

Why do you think I love Linux? One: so many os distrobutions that you can go around and figure which one suits you best. Two: Only 2 viruses were ever made for linux, primarily since linux os's (At least the Ubuntu distro) do not give admin status to a user. No, you get admin status by either being requested or asking for it and to access it you will be prompted for an admin password. Once you give the password the program as long as its session lasts will have admin permission. Obviously when you get a random admin request by something that doesn't seem like it needs admin status, you won't be giving it any. Hence, why a virus in Linux needs to be real damn good at fooling someone. and Three: the amount of freeware. I mean, many games (even if they are cheap knock offs), programs, and stuff you would have to PAY for in WINDOWS are FREE for download and installation (against at least in the Ubuntu distro)!

fun fun the reason i love macs is thre REALLY user friendly plus they can actually think ahead i dont really mind the fac of programs as what id generally want i can get (no vegas but thres something ill like i KNOW)
the reason im REALLY looking into liunx is im sick of feeding somethinmg that dosent give afuck about helping when there os dosent work even if its something like itunes not authorising plus another comp never was that good so--yea winshit has LOST me oh well when im calling hp to get a non-os comp will be fun (hp makes great systems i must say but they put the worst os on them) oh i can just imagine the call now

One of the most biggest advantages (and drawback for some) of Linux is that they are a community based people. Popular Os's in the Linux universe have a forum that provides disccusions, and helps you if you have a problem. Suprisingly enough if you look hard enough there will almost be a solution for every problem in the forums. Ubuntu forums are a bit big and update frequently... but I found lots of help there. Windows (while they did have the problems I have) never really gave me a way to find help. Just some error report thingie. Just be warned about Linux how ever. While it is a really good system it can be a bit hard to set up. Yeah... example... I can't get my wacom to work on it. The help they gave me.... sorta didn't work... something I must have done wrong. Of course I am lazy so that is the primary reason it's not working so there you go. AT least you have some one to back up on Linux that is HUMAN.

i was on the phone with hp as my comp entirely powers off outta nowhere occasionally but comes back on just after well i called the hp person uhh tewa i want that guy i talked to asbout the itunes issue i was trying ta ask outher related things didnt seem to care (an here i thought hp was awesome well maby its just the curse i have with the number 2 so yea)

Well that is called taste and preference... let's put it this way... 3 or 4 years ago I had lots of fantasies where of course I would turn into a wolf of sorts but here lies the trigger. Eventually these fantasies kept a constant pressure in which eventually I was so desperate to become a wolf I let lose the most powerful prayer of desperation for God to grant me my wish... apparently I don't know who but some one heard my prayer... I was changed 5 seconds later by the physical sensation of turning into a werewolf... no I didn't change after all that is impossible but the sensation was there. It impacted the rest of my life, It was the day I became alive. The day I was born.

ahh yea its amasing what the mind can will huh? back in 8th grade there was this show i really liked well i believed so much that even now i still have a momento of it tho it cant physically be seen ill occasionally feel it (ever hear of the witchblade?? well it was a tv series back then an so much fun ensued)
afew years later for some reason i wasnt quite "me" i felt the rush of power it felt so good at the time but i know its not right

Me? Not so lucky so much right now. You see I was a very phobic person and one day I decided to try something out that was beyond stupid... I tried sexually absorbing my fear since a werewolf website said that it causes shifts. Now, here is the problem... how do you think serial killers get pleasure from what they do? If you sexually absorb an act it becomes a sex object and interferes with emotions... now put lobotomy on this list of sex objects... let me just say it was sometimes automatic and really didn't feel so great. I am lucky I had the will power to say no and the recent discovery of where my repository of fear lies. Also because I discovered the definition of therian (people who have animal souls addition to their own) my shifts have severely dropped (times when I felt werewolfish) because of the fear of physically transforming went away. Now again, another problem... sigh... because of the things I thought during the time my fears were rampant and my actions from before formed weird desires like hurting those who were close to me for no reason.. I sorta... blamed the wolf... and I may have distanced my self from it only to be left alone in the dark. This is the one part of me I always want to have... that wolf part of me and if the wolf isn't there then... I can't live my life.

Well I tried that but I'm so unsure of my self that I can't possibly... sigh... look... the reason I'm down is because I have such a weak connection. The past two years in which I was shifting like crazy wasn't muchof anything really. Problem; the shifting wasn't done from a personal connection.... it was out of fear and shit. After I found information on therianthropy the fear of turning into a werewolf (even though I knew I could control such an aspect, its the fact how the fuck was I going to hide it) was the primary reason for the shifts... my connection is so damn bad right now I can fully I'm human and don't want to be a wolf and that scares the fucking shit out of me that all of this damn time I was just a mental case? Fuck... another thing... I can't nessarily tell if I am a therian or a clinical lycanthrope. At one point, I shared some symptoms of clinical lycanthropy, I never had bad shifts or all of the symptoms, I was in the middle ground... I need a therian to come over and look at my head cause I am going from being human to therian back and forth, if anything the one thing I need is a stable root chakra large enough to say 'the world was created in 7 days' and believe it, constantly. Speaking of chakra... my upper chakras work really well but it would be a long while till when I get to the level of what people online can do... people can create a landscape in their heads and do things? I can't do that, I barely can get an shape that has color. only three times, two times were accidental one a white wolf that looked simular to an avatar I saw here, second a... wolves don't have eye whites visible so it was some thing either caffine induced or weird, third was a weird... thing... squirrel... and then... a bat, bat I'm sure but what was before that? Anyway, my mood has swung in several different directions here. Ummm, heres a problem I can't get ridd of in meditation; I have to scrunch my eye lids closed or they start to open up. This sort of happens in sleep too, but I visuallize things before going to bed so I always focus my eyes on something to make it easier. How do you keep them closed? Oh, one meditation I kept on tring to get my totems and I always got a wolf muzzle but then it went away before every thing else came to view Also the blackness had some faint water or cystallike patterns happening in the background...

hmm intrestin dare i ask why you had the fear?? (ive herd the whole you need fear to survive but i doubt it i mean common sence an abit of guts can go far) if its someone wont accept you then maby its just a difference that ya need ta get past (id say im allmoat over an issue i had with one who was my best friend but hey they became an ass it was there choice) between actual an clynical which in youre gut feels the closest???try to involve youre mind as little as possible just use instincys or so (hope im making sence)
as fer the root charaka even when mines as open as iots been i can never say such a lie that the earth was made in 7 days yea its likely theres something totally else out there (some call god) but at the same time free will is also prised (few years ago i had an experience that i should relive anywho the only way i can desgribe it is pure energy as i dont know how else to describr it anything of earthly orgin is an understatement kinda like everything an nuthin at once id wanna say like meeting some god but i dont know)
as fer the medatation thing likely to sound stupid have you tryied just relaxing?? are you able to close youre eyes bout the effort of a blink but keep them closed instead of opennin them what happenns?? i think that may be the first step in relaxing as fer visulisatition sometimes ill physically see something tho more often its like im seeing it without "seeing" it if that makes sence kinda sencing the energy or so when i can physically see an i rather like my good eyes

Sorry for the long wait... but at one point (recently) I sort of practically began resolving all my therian problems with wolf.... still some kinks but at least I began shifting again. The Wolf shift I had a while ago was pretty strong and I found some things I was doing wrong. It was strong enough to cause a sense shift hehe. Anyway... there is only one definite problem; I do not have a defined trigger. Of course one can't really control it so...

Well it is always good to have some one that I can talk to about my therian side or crazy things in general so I guess we could be friends. Anyway, I have a theory on the shift. Things is that a huge amount of energy is needed to support a real shift and unfortunately that is kinda hard to achieve naturally. After all this is how it all started, I guess I managed to amount a huge amount of energy into a wish to God that it actually fulfilled itself; my awakening. The recent strong shift was a recent renewal to the agreement to Wolf as a teacher, of course I did not meditate on it (which a full meditation has yet to be archived) and simply let my heart chakra point literally overflow... boom, shift. Things is you need genuine feeling to get a chakra point to overflow... traditionally so shifting is really hard to come by when you aren't eating a lot and have sleep deprivation and homework flying in your face.

oh fun an i actually havent felt like eatin much i could proubly go a whole month without eatin or drinkin much if anythin least thats how ive felt lately tho as it is im allready "technically" dehydrated (im lucky if i drink even a litre in a day i dont know why but i just dont drink much) so yea tho i have felt like ivent gotten much sleep lately im shure that will change by the end of next week (my usiall hours are up at noom down at like 3a at the latest usial time but when my mom gets me up at oh 9 or so well i wanna wake her up at 3 an keep her up) wierd days these are i usted ta be able to easily eat literally whatever i wanted to no issues an now i simply dont feel like it

next time youre somewhere that there are macs look theres the dashboard and desktop no quick launch(its the dashboard seriously and i think apps are pore-loaded just need ta jump in) like that image has i think tha apple button where my start one is is also different too and no uber tons of shortsuts and apps running an all by the time too (i own 2 ild macs that ive used plus its all my grade school had literally and ive used school ones too) so yea a few decent differences that to the general user its not really noticed but its still there
