Description
Been catching up on seasons of Smallville that I missed. It got me to thinking about updating some old Superman villains.I used the Smallville version of the Kryptonian symbol for Zod, but thought it would look better turned so it looks less like a freaking stylized letter Z.
In addition to Zod, we have the man-hating super-feminist Faora Hu-Ul and the Kryptonian criminal Jax-Ur.
I see that, at least, Zod and Faora are slated to appear in Man of Steel, but I don't think they'll be calling on me to do costume designs for them. One day, they will wish they hadn't scorned my mad costume designing skills! Ruing the day, may also be in order!

If Faora is a man hater, why is she with 2 men?

Faora may be a man-hater, the only ones she respects and allies with are General Zod and Jax-Ur

I think they remind her of what she hates. If she was hanging with nice guys it'd be harder to hate them.

Thanks.
Facial expressions still sometimes elude me.
I'm fascinated by artists who can draw believable facial expressions without making their characters look deformed. I spent way too much time studying comics and not enough drawing actual people.

sometimes it's not as easy to keep the consistency of the facial features and the body.

That's for sure. I need to do model sheets for my characters. It's such a pain to look up reference. Lazy!

It's a bit of an annoyance, for me, but not much else. I have always been one to work just hard enough at something, but no harder. I ain't a 110% type. 90% effort got me better than passing grades in school, I see no reason why it shouldn't do for life. I always save something for the swim back. I'm cautious, that way.

Me too. I killed a character in Ad Astra and then I just couldn't figure out how to depict the characters' grief. I don't do grief, so I have a hard time with writing it.
