If it's a portrait style picture (just the head and shoulder region instead of the whole body), you could probably do a picture 400x500 pixels. Anything below that can become more difficult to edit. I always try to find high quality or ultra high quality if I can. Like if you have a picture that is like 6000x8000 pixels or something crazy good like that, you can always reduce the image size once the edit is done. I hope that helps
