Abrazo.
Fernando Puente

These are THE BOMB! I had plans to model all these vehicles in 3D but I see you've already done it and they look fantastic! Any chance you could put these up for sale on TurboSquid? I'd pay money for these.

thank you sir! but please continue your plan to model these wacky racers.
it doesn't mean you can't or shouldn't do it just because i did it ahead of you. I'm not a professional artist, these are just expressions of my childhood. there's nothing wrong if want to do it too...we just want to have fun and create art. i can even send you my reference pics & other sources for modelling these vehicles if you need them (though they are not of perfect quality, but they surely helped me a lot. just tell me.
about putting these up for sale on TurboSquid...you just gave me an idea. i'll think about it and i'll let you know.
cheers...just do it!!! please

Thanks for the reply! Indeed I agree about expressing our childhood. I have dozens and dozens of toys from my childhood that I've been modelling or planning to model. These would just be that many less that I'd have to do. I think all these toys and other icons from that time should be digitally preserved, and 3D modelling is how I express that. You can see some of my models on my DA gallery. Mostly been doing arcade games and handheld games so far, but I plan on so much more. I've been collecting reference materials for everything I plan on modelling. Currently modelling some of the crazy "show rod" toy cars that were popular back then (like the Tijuana Taxi, etc). Anyway, best of luck to you! Your models brought a huge smile to my face. Not just because of the models, but that someone else cared enough to model them! Kindest regards! -Peter

I imagine something similar on the inside of a Wii Remote.
