Playing around with poses in DAZ Studio and Iray. I also wanted to try a ghost effect by combining two renders in Photoshop.- Good as Dead Poses

Thanks for the feedback, it is always appreciated. I agree the major problem is he doesn't look like he is dying, so the whole theme gets muddled. I'll definitely have to do some more experimenting

Oh my gosh, are they taking his soul away? That's so cool! I like how the angel and the demons seem to be fighting over it. I love how ghostly you've made them look, what an interesting effect!

Have you tried using opacity on a model to create a ghost? I've been meaning to try it but haven't gotten around to it.

I've tried it a few times, but the faces are always a problem because it shows the eyes and teeth. I can get rid of the teeth fine, but the without the eyes they lose a lot of their personality. There is a great old 3Delight ghost material, but I have yet to find a good Iray one

Great image! I love the good and evil angle too. . . At first my mind went to a Viking warrior being dragged away by the Valkyrie. It is really iconic imagery that could be reinterpreted in many ways.
