For english I had to read Yann Martel's fantastic book Life of Pi, (which gave me an excuse to see the movie in theaters, just as fantastic I cried, and my jaw dropped. Also Canadian author, woo~!)
Part of the assignment was to create a booklet that had the "top ten" key features or elements of our novel, a sort of retelling, (I failed in the bit where I was supposed to use my own words, and instead quoted everything )

(*Spoilers??*) My points;
-The set up; Pi unbelievable surviving at sea with a tiger
-Pi's religion
-His family
-The original 4 animals, (and their fate)
-Death and survival
-Richard Parker's calming presence and Pi's remaining purpose
-Pi's rest on the island
-The Alternate story, 4 castaways and...
- Human violence and Pi's own darkness
-The final choice, which do you believe?

I put quite a lot of effort into this, so I'd appreciate any comments and/or criticism ^^
I loved drawing Pi, and though animal's aren't my forte, I think they came out okay (though the Hyena's head looks like a bat ) I also drew the characters as a mix between the movie and what I imagined
