Day 89 - Artwork No.90
So, today, when I was returning from a rehearsal with my band, strolling through the city with the dying light painting shadows on the street, I got this idea of painting a guy in my shoes, just situated in some different, southern country. I spent hundreds of hours on the road, walking, with my bassguitar on my back (I swear it's getting heavier every year), another bag with equipment at my side, sometimes a small repro-box in the other hand. It's become a habit of sorts - tired after the gig or just a rehearsal, ears buzzing from the noise, returning home with musical ideas running through my head, remembering the most interesting rhythms. Music is a universal language which I have been learning for the last 16 years and alongside painting my art it's my most favourite activity. Well, here is just today's second doodle to close the evening with.
