Tumblr is a blogging website, and its really a lot of fun. It's a blackhole for your free time, though. But, its a fun, interactive website with amazing staff and lots of awesome people. There's a huge Kingdom Hearts fanbase there. If you're more interested, you can poke around on the site here [link]
It's very confusing at first, but you get the hang of it pretty quick. You're likely hearing about it because lots of artists are abandoning dA in favor of tumblr.
