In December 2010, IGN commissioned me to submit two drawings two be featured in their "Hyrule's Most Wanted" feature - a celebration of the LoZ franchise showcasing the series' most infamous villains. They told me which ones to do, (this and the ReDead), and the project went live in April 2011. I was honored to be a part of the project.I truly love this game and was seriously creeped out by the Dead Hand as a kid... i still kinda am. The Legend of Zelda games are the only videogames I play anymore (aside from occasional random N64 stuff for nostalgic purposes...), and in my opinion, the series collectively the greatest work fiction ever
This was completed with Copic Markers and multiliners.

I loved the angle you used. Almost Portrays a type of hopelessness, imo. You see nothing but the blackness and Dead Hand lookin' at you like, "Im'a eat yo face".
I can't believe that haven't incorporated him into any other games since OoT T_T

First playing this game as an eight-year-old kid, I always dreaded facing these things more than anything in the world... And between this and the ReDeads, (which I've also got a drawing of in my gallery), I learned fairly quickly not to play this game with the lights off...
