Well, i have never officially stated if it is an Alternate Universe, or if it is Peridot imagining things using rose's room to create a simulation in which she can nerd out as much as she wants, and i probably never will confirm if it's one or the other. So if you like to think this is peridot imagining the whole thing, who am I to stop you from believing? I'd like to keep this comic free for everyone to interpretate as they choose ^-^
