I've always said I was a Sonic the Hedgehog fan, but any time I break out my Megadrive/Genesis I always seem to reach for Streets of Rage 2 first, and I always select Blaze.Related content

Wow, can't say I played Golden Axe but both Blaze and Daphne were huge part of my childhood ! Though as a girl who only wanted to play girls I played Blaze a lot but could never save Daphne

In the Japanese Version of SoR 2, you can see Blaze's panties when she does her forward jump kick.
SoA dropped the ball in the localization of SoR 3 though. Ramping up the difficulty (beat Neo-X with 7 lifebars under 3 mins?!), cutting the awesome screen intro for a generic one, having a nonsensical plot, and making the females enemies wear sweaters.

Then, i gave the living hell anyone in the game (no matter was a fighter, not a beat'em up :3).

Streets of Rage is probably one of the best beat 'em up series even still.
I prefer the japanese version of 3, but 2 is still a really, really good game.
Also awesome pic, despite it being for 2, the BG reminds me of the second stage in 3.
