Why have they not impeached him?

MihoshiK In reply to DuskSpiral [2019-02-16 12:19:25 +0000 UTC]

Don't worry, Mueller is slowly but surely making his way to the top. Right now they've apparently got Stone on direct contact with Russian intel officers. The amount of people that are going to jail over this is already AMAZING, and Mueller is far from finished.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

DuskSpiral In reply to MihoshiK [2019-02-16 15:55:24 +0000 UTC]

Who's Mueller?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MihoshiK In reply to DuskSpiral [2019-02-16 16:02:43 +0000 UTC]

Robert Mueller, former FBI head, now special prosecutor who has a running investigation into (amongst others) Russia's involvement in the last elections?

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

MihoshiK In reply to DuskSpiral [2019-02-16 21:42:09 +0000 UTC]

Well, technically Manafort is responsible for that, due to keeping on lying after recieving a plea deal. From Mueller. So yeah, kinda.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

DuskSpiral In reply to MihoshiK [2019-02-16 23:17:03 +0000 UTC]

Streaked-Silver In reply to DuskSpiral [2019-02-16 01:16:04 +0000 UTC]

Because he hasn't done anything impeachable.

Frankly Clinton already proved you could get people killed, lie about it and try and cover up money making schemes and not land in jail.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

ThefirstEpidot In reply to Streaked-Silver [2019-02-18 16:32:15 +0000 UTC]

I am pretty sure he has. But you are correct that Clinton is no clean cookie herself. However, Clinton doesn't have Trump's following, as many of those that voted for her straight up admitted that they just had to bite their teeth together and go vote.

(As for Trump. He opened 8 businesses in Saudi Arabia while on the campaign, the Saudi Officials rents apartments in Trump businesses, far above the rate, while hardly any are used. Huge weapon deals with the Saudies, ect. ect. I don't know if there is anything in the Russia probe, but saying that Trump is hasn't violated the rules regarding a US president, is almost the same as saying that you should eat rotten meat, because it is technically still meat.)

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

Streaked-Silver In reply to ThefirstEpidot [2019-02-19 03:53:55 +0000 UTC]

Trumps following was very small.. Was.. now its much larger because of false attacks on him and him keeping his word.Ā Ā  Just saying.. with seeing what everyone has gotten away with?Ā  I've just about given up on actual justice happening and instead people being sacrificed on the alter of Political Agenda instead of what is right.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 1

ThefirstEpidot In reply to Streaked-Silver [2019-02-19 12:47:48 +0000 UTC]

Now that is a sentiment I can stand behind. I'm not agreeing to every attack on him being false, but there certainly were attacks on quite a lot of nonsensical issues that in the long term just hid away the real ones. The rest of it, seems like a very well made summary of the overreaching issue.

Thankfully/Hopefully this won't happen either through Congress blocking it or the lawsuits killing it. You can't declare 'an emergency' if you've waited 2 years to do it with all evidence showing you're a fucking liar and idiot about it. He's just trying to play to his base before they realize how much he's fucking them over. Even Ann Coulter is finally starting to see what a piece of crap he was and she's fucking insane.

Yeah, I live in Georgia. If you talk to one of these people (it doesn't take long) you will see them use some mental backflips that are legitimately impressive.
The sad part is that it very quickly becomes clear that the twists in their logic is not to convince anyone but themselves that these things are okay.

I still don't really understand why people can only perceive one payment method.Ā  Did anyone really expect Mexico to simply write a check, swipe a debit card or something?Ā  Is that how ignorant people have become lately?Ā

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 4

moudoka In reply to moudoka [2019-02-16 07:27:21 +0000 UTC]

Okay, so let's break it down.Ā  Mexico was tearing us a new one on trade.Ā  NAFTA was trashed, in favor of a new trade agreement, which has unlocked a lot of cash otherwise spent on bad deals going south, and a larger market for American farmers.Ā  That alone is worth billions of dollars in revenue, both to farmers, and our nation as a whole.Ā  Also, curbing illegals will reduce strain on our nation's welfare system, saving us money too.Ā  Reduction in violent crime should be a no-brainer as far as cost goes.Ā  I think narrow vision over a subject without understanding how business and trade works, not to mention ending bad immigration in favor of good immigration (also, how many of these illegals pay taxes?Ā  I'd wager...none.Ā  Yet they benefit from our tax-supported programs, another major cost that will be curbed with a wall)Ā  The savings pay for the wall.Ā  I would much rather have my tax dollars pay for a wall, over supporting illegals.Ā  Come here legally, or don't come here at all.Ā  Millions have done so legally, are upstanding members of our nation.Ā  Illegals violate that.

šŸ‘: 0 ā©: 0

fred1009 In reply to moudoka [2019-02-16 03:21:50 +0000 UTC]

It was stated "Mexico will pay for the wall" nowhere in the campaign did Mushroom Man ever say HOW Mexico would pay for it. The Mexican government has already said they are not writing any "stinking checks" so we make them pay through raising prices on exports?? Magic? How?
What IS clear that the US taxpayer will fronting the money. Ā Ā
