you could also add how people can counter the border wall if it happens, like the tunnels we discovered and crazy stunts some would think of lol

It's pure speculation as to what goes on in the mind of Mushroom Man. I'm still waiting on that "Big Beautiful Health Plan" or all that infrastructure fixing. The wall got Trump the loudest cheers and being a spotlight whore that's where he makes his stand.
The Molly Tibbitts murder still bothers me because the farm manager claims they did a background check on the man charged with her murder. DID they actually do a check? IF they actually did, where did this clown get his credentials? The issue of illegal immigration seems a lot more compilated than simply building a vanity wall along the Rio Grande. Β Β Β Β

I have no real words for this. Do I want illegal immigrants crossing the Mexican border, no. Is the idea of a wall a solution that works, no. Why? I can name three (possibly four) border walls. None of them truly worked.

If you really want to solve this immigrant problem, we should go after the companies who are hiring these immigrants illegally and use the immigrants as a way to suppress wages in order to make the working class fight among-st each other instead against the bourgeoisie, all so that these corporations can get higher profits and have a more easily exploited workforce.
Center-left and far-right idpol are basically the same phenomenon and serve the same purpose (legitimizing capitalism, preventing proles from uniting) but for different demographic qroups. It's integral enough to contemporary bourgeois ideology that it's fair to consider it the biggest ideological threat, but the greatest challenge itself is always the bourgeoisie and the bourgeois state.

What do you have against undocumented immigrants?
π: 0 β©: 1
DKannji In reply to Ankh-Infinitus [2019-02-18 06:16:30 +0000 UTC]
You mean illegal immigrants. To be a lawful citizen of any nation you need documentation, and if you are the child of an illegal alien it is not your fault you are a criminal, it's your guardians fault.
So question really worth asking is; Why do you defend criminal activity?
π: 0 β©: 1
Ankh-Infinitus In reply to DKannji [2019-02-18 14:54:39 +0000 UTC]
No, I mean what I said. Undocumented immigrants. They're people like you and me. It's illegal for some of them to be here, but it's not an actual crime. Nobody is harmed by their presence here, and I would argue that they make the country better with their amazing work ethic and cultural diversity. Why are you against them being here?
π: 0 β©: 2
DKannji In reply to Ankh-Infinitus [2019-02-19 06:20:20 +0000 UTC]
Illegal aliens are people too, they are also criminals. If you steal a car, you're a criminal, if you enter a home you don't own, you're a criminal... if you break any law what so ever, you're a criminal. Having no documentation of your immigration is illegal, if you don't like it, submit a petition to change the law.
Please do realize that there are plenty documented immigrants that bring cultural diversity, they don't have to break the law to do so.
π: 0 β©: 1
Ankh-Infinitus In reply to DKannji [2019-02-20 03:40:03 +0000 UTC]
So what if they're breaking a law? Let's assume we're talking about legitimate cases of a person being here when the law says they shouldn't be here, like visa overstays. Where's the victim of the crime? If they're working, paying taxes, holding doors open for people, and doing all the other things that a decent person should do, then why should they be deported? Do you honestly care that much about every single law?
π: 0 β©: 1
DKannji In reply to Ankh-Infinitus [2019-02-20 09:21:12 +0000 UTC]
A victimless crime it is not. They are like the tenant who stays past the agreed upon time and still pays rent, they are breaking the law because they are occupying a space illegally, and thus preventing others from benefiting from said space. Illegals, whether by entering illegally or overstaying their welcome, have broken a law which they could have prevented by; getting/renewing a visa, or by just leaving if that doesn't work.
If you give them an inch they will take a mile.
π: 0 β©: 1
Ankh-Infinitus In reply to DKannji [2019-02-21 04:26:00 +0000 UTC]
They are not preventing anyone from occupying space. What a ridiculous argument.

gwsfox In reply to Ankh-Infinitus [2019-02-18 23:37:27 +0000 UTC]
It is a crime for them or anyone else to enter and live in a country undocumented. The day a group of people drew lines in the sand and said "This is our land, this is our country" is the day borders were drawn. The worst that can happen to them for being an illegal immigrant is deportation. Unless other laws have been broken.Β
I like cultural diversity, I really do, I just want them to enter legally. But, not everyone has an amazing work ethic. Some just want a free ride care of the government. People will always be people. Weather it is you, me, or the person in the next country over. But remember, the bigger a population of a country, the more resources that population consumes. Food, water, shelter, money, and work are all resources.Β
You and I may not have felt this impact in our areas.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Ankh-Infinitus In reply to gwsfox [2019-02-20 03:45:02 +0000 UTC]
Wrong. It is not a crime for an undocumented person to come here seeking asylum.
How would an undocumented immigrant get a free ride care of the government? They can't qualify for any benefits. Sure, they consume resources, but there's plenty to go around.

Actually border walls are shown to be effective where you have a lot of people (border cities). The question remains would spending $3m per mile be effective along the Rio Grande or in places in the desert where they actually find bodies. Note that they keep finding tunnels used for smuggling drugs in border cities where they already have walls.
Getting an objective cost analysis is not easy because the Blue Vampires find Trump so loathsome that ANYTHING he wants gets roadblocked. Β Β

Aside form that I dont see why us Europeans have to take responsibility for wars we never started by importing the third world.
Sex Abuses, gang activity and violent crimes have gone up in Germany since 2015 and I have been carrying a knife around for a few years now because of that just to have some kind of defense.

ThefirstEpidot In reply to reddermeeeend [2019-03-03 21:04:39 +0000 UTC]
Sex abuse and gang activity go up and down when people feel excluded, and/or tries to separate themselves from the culture where they are. That is just the nature of crime and gangs of a foreign nature. And then locally nurtured gangs and crimes go up, as a result of the same conflict oriented views. Basically, people that are bad, will be bad. Wherever they come from, all they really need is an excuse. I won't tell you not to be cautious when walking outside at night, but it is too simple to say that the it is all because of immigration that the world is less safe than it used to be.
As for the refugees, it is not about taking responsibility. It is about common human decency. I too am a European, and I have to say, I admire the stance that Germany have taken, because we would be a whole lot better off, if every country acted on the same principles that we are all humans, and when someone is in need, then they need help. Truth be told, the ideal is that their homes were safe and that most could go back from where they came. As I am sure most of the refugees themselves would tell you.

I'll be honest here, the defense department has so much money that they piss away on projects that blow up their own budgets rather than actual targets they might as well just spare some change. It's not like the Democrats and Republicans haven't already just handed the Pentagon so much money willy nilly without asking questions. I'm still curious to know what happened to the $3 Trillion that the Pentagon misplaced back in 2001. I remember then-secretary of defense Donald Rumsfield fuming over that.
