Well sure. Temporal travel is not the same thing as spacial travel, damn what you learned from Back To The Future. If one is traveling through time but not space, they aren't actually going anywhere. Technically, they're going anywhen.
So time travel, at least, I understand. On the other hand, fashion eludes me, especially in the area of "keep poorly-balanced thing on head."

One of my favorite scenes in that movie is the close-quarters fight between the man and the morlock. I'd rather have a much less-violent tussle with her.
