Time travel is dangerous in anything less than a fully functioning TARDIS, and even then you must be careful.
If you aren't you can damage the universe.
(Unless you are dealing with the Time-Cone concept of Chaos theory, in which case it wouldn't damage the universe but you will probably end up lost.)
(Or if it's the theory that time-space fixes itself, in which case you will probably just end up with PTSD.)

Even so, that probably isn't the best outfit for time travel.
I'd recomend the Trenchcoat, it is the least temporally sensitive fashion.
Gladly this is fiction, so she isn't actually going across time.
But then again, according to TimeCone theory everything happens in some place in the infinite infinitude of the multiverse.
So according to that, this and everything else ever imagined or not imagined is real somewhere.

In accordance with Timecone Chaos theory, an infinite number of people including an infinite number of yous also read it, and another infinite number did not read it including another infinite number of yous. Interestingly enough, this theory also would imply that an infinite number of everyone (existant and nonexistant) live forever somewhere in the multiverse, and that if one was to figure out how to transfer themself into one of these alternate event chains, they could live forever through never ending up in a situation in which they die, regardless of the odds put against them, so long as there was any infinitely small chance they would survive (And there always is) in which case they would.
Use this knowledge wisely, fellow Whovian.

My view of time travel: going back into the past probably either would involve creating a new timeline and universe, or you rearrange all matter and energy in the universe to the way it was at a specific point in time, keeping only yourself and said time-travel device unchanged. As the first one is probably easier, you would then have a universe wherein the changes you enacted stay, whilst ALSO having another universe wherein nothing changed at all, save that you are inexplicably gone.

There was a book that was basically a continuation of H.G. Wells' classic
called The Time Ships by Stephen Baxter. If you're a fan of the original,
I believe you would find this book stimulating.

I LOVE THIS! It has all the elements which made the Time Traveling device from the Time Machine so cool, but, this is it, stripped down! Looks like a one seater, too, which, considering the current pilot could be something of a shortcoming. Oh well, She could sit on My lap!
