Had to rework some things on the portrait. Uniform is a correct 1706-1721 model that Kongliga Elfsborghs Regemente used. In oil and dry pastell.Related content

Actually, I'm pretty sure I don't.
However, my mother was born in Germany, so that's fairly close.
My maternal grandmother also had a German accent too.
The main reason I ended up so interested culture actually has a few parts:
The first reason? I wanted to make a Swedish friend of mine (AubreyED ) happy since she has bone cancer.
The second reason is that many of my favorite things and people are Swedish, such as Sabaton and Hammerfall, two of my favorite metal bands (Sabaton actually convinced me out of suicide once when I talked to them on facebook during a depressive episode), Aubrey obviously, and also Minecraft and Saab aircraft.
The third main reason is specifically Sabaton. I love their music, the history they tell, and how friendly they are when you message them on facebook. Like I said, they did convince me out of suicide once. They tell songs about historical figures, war heroes and combat, and war crimes and tragedies.
In fact, they're actually how I found out about Karl XII, as they wrote an entire album dedicated to his life, rule, war record and death.
I am taking my first steps to learn Swedish, because I wanted to be able to speak to Aubrey and Sabaton in their native language instead of English.
I even made Minecraft skins of Karl XII, Frederik IV, and several Carolean and Danish soldier skins. The Caroleans have a barracks in the map's main town.

They are both standing on the bed and they keep getting in front of each other so they can't get off.
I even used a few mods to make randomly spawning Carolean and Danish military patrol groups that would appear all over the map, and if they meet when you are close, they will fight each other and you can help the Caroleans out.
The mods I used were Flan's Mod, which I used to make the guns, melee weapons, and the armor they use, and Custom NPCs which I used to make the actual characters.
I have an entire Nordic Content Pack for Flan's Mod, which was originally a Sweden themed pack. Currently it has several sets of armor: Karl XII's clothing, a Carolean uniform, Carolean Cavalry and Officer uniforms, Frederik IV's wig and boots, a Danish infantry uniform, Danish officer uniform, and I'm pretty sure I also added a Danish cavalry uniform too.
If you're wondering what the map is based on, it is based on the Animaniacs movie, Wakko's Wish. Karl XII and his men were hired by the king of Warnerstock, the nation that the 3 main characters (Wakko, Yakko and Dot, who are the children of the royal family) were from, to defend their capital, Acme Falls. King Salazar, the villain of the movie, was ruler of Ticktockia, a nation directly to the north of Warnerstock, and he hired Danish soldiers to defend his castle, with Frederik IV being the leader.
