A fantastic work.
Have you been looking at Goya (the master of terror)? His "Los Caprichos"?
Your "the demon of famine". [link]
You've got to be the most intelligent, ambitious artist found at DA.

I've held Goya in high regard, and love being challenged by his subject matter, particularly the image of Saturn eating his son. [link] When I heard the original included an erection it completely blew my mind. To think this god has such a primitive human satisfaction from devouring his own child, that's absolutely incredible. Censoring it was a poor choice on whoever discovered it after Goya died.
I hadn't seen that demon image from Goya, but it's definitely up my alley. Human representations of the supernatural (when done with imagination) are among my favourite subject matters.
I question the grounds of the latter compliment, but I'm very flattered to hear such a grounded and admirable personality tell me this!

The outside ones really aren't mean. Oh, that little one with the orange eyes⦠"Hey there, little guy" Look at you!"
I modeled that one after a SpΓΆka, you know.

This looks way cool. Truly you are the master of bringing textures to life. I'd love to see more about these characters, too. They look interesting.

I think the favourite demon is a toss up between famine and disability.
And the horn/light-circle thing I totally stole from Egyptian art. :3

It completely killed the definition in the underpainting, but I'm glad to have the physical texture anyway. This was a good opportunity to mess around with different mediums.
