She had the Power, yes, but wasn't really one of Marvel's messianic types, like the Surfer or Adam Warlock

she was basically a child of god (Galactus) in same way the surfer was, and sacrificed her life to stop evil. on top of that she appears to have been resurrected.

The Surfer & Adam Warlock were written as Super-Jesus' that's all I mean. Nothing to do with power or events.
