Well,it's not so much that I hate the level as that it was always infuriatingly difficult back in '91 when I first played it, when I was 10

And Hydrocity in Sonic 3 although it's not that bad... cos you can collect air shields which are real handy.

From sonic 2 and up the composition of every stages music and every little instrumental has been a work of Art. Hilltop Zone, Casino Night, Metropolis, Sky Chase act 2...

The Starlight Zone was more fun.
One time a bubble wouldn't come up at all until the exact second I died. It was so sad, it's funny. I think those bubbles have a mind of their own.

Yeah, that happened to me a LOT. I developed a habbit of running up and down over the blowhole hoping against hope it would make it come out faster. I still do it XD

The bubbles are worse in the 8-bit Game Gear version of the game, if you ask me.
Why must the bubbles torture us?! What did we ever do to them, besides inhale them for oxygen?

The Labrynth Zone has never bothered me, I used to kinda dread it as a kid because I was so bad at it. But now I actually quite like it.
I'm not sure what Sonic should be more worried about; the fact he may drown in 5 seconds if he doesn't get that air bubble and hear the "OORPA!" sound, or that a rather angry BurrowBot is aiming right for Sonic's nuts. >.<

And I hate that countdown music. >.< *notices the 5 above Sonic* I'd always be like: No! Must make it... almost there... no! Don't run out! NOOOOOO! *Sonic drowns* It's because of that STUPID water that I've never been able to beat Robotnik there. Laberynth Zone may be pretty in its own way, but I still HATE IT! ARRRGH.
