It is widely reported that Britain is the Surveillance Capital of Europe.Hit the city and you can barely pick your nose,lift your arse to fart or indeed go take a pee or make a phone call without the man (& in this case a Welshman too
) recording the occasion for minimal posterity

Great shot Jonathan and yes you are right... you cant do nowt without someone watching you. And yet... despite you yourself being photographed and filed hundreds of times every day .... you lift a camera to your eye and the police will have your equipement and your freedom for it. You heard about the new photography laws, especially effecting street photography ? xx

Its a bloody nightmare. One is to scared nowadays to lift the camera, especially in public areas like towns and cities. I love street photography, but gotten away from that genre for that reason alone. Sticking to landscapes most of the time now ... at least that way you are very unlikely to get peeps in the shot that can report you as a paedephilic terrorist or other such things lol. xxx

yea its getting rather rediculous. I have to say I am a bit wary of all the hype, especially as some photographers have had their equipment taken by the police... apparently and according to some articles I read. xx

At least I will know that if I ever go there to be on my best behavior! We have them here as well, a few years back they installed our very first red light cameras.. we're moving on up! ^^

I only learned of all their camera's in college. I was kinda disgusted. My teacher had to to college there and told us that people made sport of trying to disable them. But she told me that story 6 years ago.
