If only that butt crack was more defined. LOL! What a superb shot. Especially for that tittle, cause it makes you look for the lovers, then the butt crack, therefore, appreciating the entire photo. * applaud *

I loved the feedbacks you received on this photo !!
Interesting comments

I laughed at the "detail" myself .

I must say that the street was what caught my eye. I don't think they are lovers, though, just two students walking side by side, but the name sounds more romantic that way

--------------------------
This street brought me memories of a very special love I had at a certain point in my life. Someone that broke my heart later, and I suffered in a way I never believed was possible. I remember that when we broke up, and during almost a week, when I woke up, before even opening my eyes, tears started rolling and I used to hold my pillow against my face so nobody could hear my crying sounds... I was devastated.

I knew in advance that our love wouldn't last. It just couldn't. But I lived a dream while it worked.
I just wanted us to be friends, I thought I could manage that, but there was a growing attraction. One afternoon he stole a kiss from me on a similar street. He really took me by surprise.
And after that kiss, I knew that I was lost. That I would walk the path Fate had chosen for me. There was simply nothing I could do against it. The chemistry was too strong and powerful.

I am absolutely over it nowadays; I am not sad at all while reminiscing. On the contrary, I feel ok sharing this, because it was part of what turned me into what I am today and it can happen to anyone.
But it took me a long time to heal, over 7 years if I remember well.

Today I am thankful that I lived that experience. It taught me to never judge people and to be very understanding towards decisions others make. You never know what they are going through or what demons they are fighting, how much they are risking or how much pain is involved. It made me learn how powerful love can be and how many things can be left aside for love.
-------------------------
The second thing I really, really like are the tree branches over the "lovers'" heads... I know they are not exactly over their heads, but they look fantastic there and give the perfect feel to that upper half of the photo. Without those tiny leaves there, that area would have lost the charm it holds
----
And the third thing is a simple question: why did you leave the glass on the floor? I am asking because if I had taken this photo, I would have probably removed it. And I know you saw it. So I guess you wanted to keep the street shot as natural as possible. But since my intention is to learn from you, I'd like to know the reason why YOU left it there.
---------------------------

You will end publishing a photobook some day, I can see that coming...

Last things first, yes I def want to do my own photobook one day M,it`ll be a great lil keepsake for these times and my love of Photography as it`s going on right now

And I`ll hold my hands up M and Busted! you got me I never noticed that (I think you mean) Plastic cup bottom left?
Truthfully,I probably would have cloned it out cos looking at it,it would be very easy to do anyway.
Glad you picked up on it M,always a blessing to have a second pair of eyes in this game

And thank you for sharing your past story,as tragic and painful as it was at the time,it was clearly a blessing as you`re a happy more experienced lady for it where you are right now

Thank you for all sweet M

The day you do your photobook, make sure to let me know.
I will find the way to purchase it from you, even if I
live so far away. Books is one of the things that are
tax free here

Exactly that one. Plastic cub bottom left. It distracted
my attention from the stones of the street at once
You can still remove it

I hope my story wasnΒ΄t too long this time... I got into
the memory and wrote too much...

You are always welcome, dear Jonathan !!!

Man, I really dig this shot! A little lovey-dovey business and a cheeky blighter to boot Great tones and contrasts in this, Jonathan. I like the lines of the walk way on the right--it sure gives the shot some depth and the inclusion of the group of people on the ledt is a masterful addition Well done brother!

Not being up with modern terms, it tok me a while to work out what a but crack was.

I was too taken with the cobbled walkway that took me right back to my home town of Shrewsbury where many small passages have the cobbles. I also like the rim lighting and shadows of the people on the right.
