I`m a big animal lover but haven`t exactly got a wardrobe full of shots of them in my gallery,but I like this one enough to submit.This gorgeous girl happily trotted over as I walked by and promptly posed proudly like a Pro for me for several shots
She got her rewards for her co-operation by sharing half my Mint Cake
Was gonna crop the farmhouse to the left,but it ruined the composition,pushing the horse too tightly to the edge.
Thought of this as a Mono conversion while taking it and post production,it suited it a lot more than colour.

I'm on a B&W trip recently, devouring old monochrome images of big sky countries in the US, so this one caught my attention right away. The sky is so spectacular and with the horse in the foreground you have a winner shot here.

I`m happy with the way this came together,many times I`ve passed and wanted to stop and shoot but always carried on,chose the right day to finally stop

Absolutely beautiful. I honestly love it. I see what you mean with the farmhouse, but that isn't anything that can't be taken care of with some careful photo editing! ^_^
Also, if you hadn't mentioned the farmhouse, I would have never noticed. everything else about the photograph is so captivating that no attention was being paid there.
