"I need a friend" moments do happen quite a bit in coffee shops don't they? I guess they attract the crowd that needs to vent/let go.

I must learn to be less shy...when i want to catch scenes like this one, on the street or something else, i can't. I start thinking about things like "they're going to see me, they're going to get angry..." So i don't have pics like this u.u and i think are the best. i love photos of landscapes, waterscapes, etc. but there's nothing like these emotive and expressive shots.

Well,you know what you have to do to get over it then.
I always wanted to do street stuff and that`s a main reason why I purchased a 300mm lens when I got my 40D,I don`t think I`ve used that lens anywhere else except on the street
Just go out one day and simply do it Mary.
And start taking shots as soon as you get there (City,Mall,wherever you are)...DON`T WAIT!
Start straight away,even if the initial shots aren`t that great,but the more you shoot and point and click in other peoples directions the more your confidence WILL grow
I got sooooooooo much street stuff from this year,but I post it sparingly as it`s (for whatever) reason not very popular on DA
We love it though and that`s what counts

i have a 300mm lens...but it's really, REALLY BIG xD i'm going to buy a 250mm smaller (and maybe the 40D 
well, yes...and many people of DA think that a boy with the hair covering his face is emotive and expressive...xD

This is such a sweet image... very emotional moment and anything that includes Starbucks has got to be great, right? *and expensive* hehe... Very lovely and touching. And Personally, I would not clone out the window pane...
