if i where you: if someone made a 'sequel' picture to something i did, and they did not even ask my permission? i'd report the picture

but one should not let this kind of shit slide, if they do it once, they'll get the idea they can do it again. maybe to someone who worked painstakingly on somthing, then had the bronies come by and ruin it.
i wont report it, because your not fussed. but i cant enjoy his work now. it may have been done a few years ago. it could have been done before i was born for all i care. its like.......a means of honor. bronies have no honor. or respect. you have to respect other peoples work and NOT steal their ideas. otherwise, the only other people that are going to like you are the other feral bronies. even the normal bronies don't steal other peoples work

it doesn't matter whether both of them are brony, or one of them is a brony and the other a non-brony.
if someone does something that is related to someone else's work and they have not even BOTHERED to ask....it just gets to me. Β
dont know why really, but it does bug me.
rag-dolls in gmod are a different story, when you use a ragdoll in a picture, its what the creator would expect (for most rag-dolls anyway)
just not re skinning and editing. then you need to ask
but the fact that he said it was a sequel to your picture, without even asking......unless he was very young when he did it.....i wouldn't forgive him (young people do stupid things, its part of growing up. but older people should know better)
his skill in posing and editing gmod things has improved alot from his older pictures to his newest - but think of it as doing a crime, like murder: you did it a 20 years ago, you've changed since then. but it doesn't change the fact that you DID it at all. you cant simply say you didn't do something and have it made true. you cant change your past, you can only shape the future.
things, like Deviant art pictures, and youtube videos. so long as no one else has saved copies of it - you can simply take it down or delete it and its done, its history, only the memory of it would remain.
even if he took his 'seuqel' down..... whatever, i still wont be able to look at his work the same way again.
when i first stumbled upon the picture, i thought "ooh, this looks sort of cool. might be worth looking at"
looked at it. thought "he did a fairly good job"
read the description (had no idea who's picture it was at the moment) saw it was a 'sequel' to someone else's picture, went to the link (he even had it in description) saw your picture (no offence, but its not as good, but as you said, it was a long time ago it was made, we all get better over time)
thought "ooh, so it was going to be a kill-pony comic? but the sequel shows her being saved? eh, theres alot of those around the internet"
so it looked like just more background noise in my mind. wouldn't stand out from the others

same thing with my real-life friend, my best friend, we've been best buddies for as long as i can remember, if he where to die, i'd be heart broken and i'd never recover for as long as i live. Β but i remember he made a mistake once. he uploaded a video that looked like it was thrown together in five seconds during a drinking competition, i told him what i thought about it, told him that videos of that....'certain quality' would be....i hesitate to use the word 'laugh at', but no one would bother to watch the whole thing. so he took it down. since then, he has undoubtedly forgotten about it. but not me....no idea why.
his pictures aren't 'Great masterpieces' but the ones that he has uploaded where when he was still in the learning phase, like me

Jeeze, you're taking this a bit too seriously. If you don't like nomnom anymore, that's fine, not my problem. And yeah, he did make that stupid picture without my permission, but I'm not fussed, it was ages ago. And don't worry about calling me bad in Gmod, I don't claim to be the best. I try my best and if it looks good enough to me, then I upload it. Not all my pics are masterpieces, but hey, I still like 'em.
