Description I always wanted the Cheapskate toy (or four! So all of the turtles could have one), but I never got it. I think I had the Cheapskate II or something, some giant version of it.

This is another example of the kind of sketches I'll be doing on-site at FanExpo. There's a few more drawings on my blog

I checked out your blog, and I think you've got some great looking Mutanimals! You render them in a style that resembles the legendary Chris Allan himself! Looking forward to seeing more of your work!

Thanks, man, that means a lot! I'm not actually familiar with Chris Allan, it was so long ago that I was reading the TMNT stuff that I didn't pay attention to the artists back then. Just checking up on him now, though, looks like he probably drew some of those comics I was reading! He drew one issue with Armaggon I may have had. Maybe I should draw that guy!

I use to have one. It was no van or blimp.
I always use to wanna fill my turtle blimp with helium.

You had the blimp?! Man, so jealous. I only had the blimp that came with the mini turtle toys, so it was about an inch and a half long. I had the van, though, that was pretty cool.

Yeah I got the full sized blimp for my 6th b-day. I remember it very clearly. My grandma took me on a flight in a small plane. Then when we got home I got the blimp while watching the world premier of the episode Krusty the Klown gets framed by Sideshow Bob for the first time.

It was pretty cool. All my toys from back then endured some brutal playtime. They all eventually ended up broken in some way or another. lol

Haha, yeah man, me too. And if not by me, than by one of my two brothers!

Yeah I had a brother two. The only problem with rough play is getting struck in the hands by the toys when going at it.

For sure, though broken toys was always a lot more upsetting.

I guess it depends on who you are. I myself would continue to play with them even after they were one armed freaks. My friend went a step further because he liked to play with Erector set. When ever a toy got broken he'd construct cybernetic prostetics to it. I remember the most rediculous case of it was that the Green Goblin got decapitated, he made him a fully robotic body (with articulating joints and demon wings that spread & folded up)It was the coolest modification I ever seen him do.

Yeah it was pretty genius. I never would have come up with it, and he's not even that smart. He is just a natural at things like that.
