Description Another of my Bathala character, Makiling.

This is her first appearance on the pages of Issue 1.

Panel 1
Makiling: Geo, The loss of your wife giving birth to your son, Kage, is not your fault.
Geo: W-who are you?! I must have drunk too much this time.
Makiling: You were never meant to live among men. Let go of your child and allow Dr. Steel to raise him for it will be too dangerous if THEY know about his powers.
Geo: How did you know about my son? Who are THEY?

Panel 2
Makiling: I am Makiling, from the House of Sorcerers, servant of your Father and a friend. I have agreed for you to live on this world on the condition that your memories are erased. I have made an oath to you that we will never cross paths again.

Panel 3
Makiling: (outside panel) I must break that oath in the direst of needs. We require you again for both our worlds are in peril.
Geo: You’re a sorceress? You must be talking to the wrong guy.

Panel 4
Makiling: You are the one that I seek. Having no knowledge of the truth does not change the fact. I will simply make you REMEMBER.
Geo: W-wait! What are you going to do?!

Geo: (SHOUT) EYAAARGH!!!

The artwork looks great. The dialogue is a little wooden in spots, but overall, tight.

Yeah, they're stiff. As much as I try to soften it up I run into limits. The script was originally in our native language here. Perhaps on Issue three I can get help from one of my writer friends here.

Well, I'm not the greatest when it comes to dialogue, but I would probably approach it something like this:

Panel 1
Makiling: Geo, your wife died while giving birth to your son...what happened was not your fault.
Geo: What the heck?! Who are you?! Ugh, must have had way too much to drink...
Makiling: You were never meant to live among men. Let go of your child, and allow Dr. Steel to raise him. For it will be too dangerous if THEY knew about his powers.
Geo: How did you know about my son? And who the heck are THEY?

Panel 2

Not much different, but a bit more "loosened up", particularly for the Geo character. Still, what's there now isn't bad, and what I've written might not even be as good from another's point of view.
