It was tricky to get, at the time I did not have a tripod on hand and it was extremely windy!

I can imagine. I don't have a tripod either but they sound very useful.

Oh yes, very.

I now have two tripods, a manfrotto compact lightweight tripod with ball head and a heavier CAMLINK TPcarbon24 tripod. I take at least one of them (usually the Manfrotto) everywhere with me and everytime I want to take a landscape or something I know I will spend some time on, I will use it so that it allows me to use lower ISO and reduce vibration and blurriness.

If you cool with taking the time to set up your composition, wanting the best chance to shoot with the lowest ISO setting with a crisp and sharp image, tripods and monopods are great.
