Hey,Cimicket and Batafly are only very loosely based on an actual creatures called bat bugs; blood sucking insects related to bed bugs. Though I mostly wanted to try out mixing a bat with a butterfly. One of the Early Region Bugs.
Bloodthirsty - Gradually reduces the heath of sleeping foes.
Nocturnal - Attacks are more powerful at night.

Basic Stage: Cimicket - Fang Bug Pokemon
Type: Bug
Ability: Bloodthirsty/Nocturnal
Name Meaning: Cimicidae(Blood Sucking Insects)-Cricket
Evolves: lvl 22 at Night
CIMICKET scuttle around in dark places, waiting for night to fall so they can feast on the energy of other Pokemon. In the morning, they retreat back to the darkness to rest.

Ability: Bloodthirsty/Nocturnal
Name Meaning: Bat-Butterfly
BATAFLY feed on the energy of other Pokemon by biting their skin. Although the prey is usually asleep, a numbing fluid is secreted from its tail tip as a precaution. They only appear at night.

Hi, I'm writing a PokΓ©mon fanfiction and a roleplay based on it and my character will eventually specialize in Dark types. I would like your permission to use these for when she starts facing the evil teams who use Dark types as they would fit her speciality and be very effective against the evil teams?

That would be crossing franchises a bit wouldn't you think? And besides Batman is based on a bat, so I'd essentially be basing a pokemon off a bat... which I've already done

I would definitely train these pokemon. I think it's the cute little arms coupled with the fact that they are bugs. That, and a BUG/DARK type. Sounds awesome.

yeah same here, i wish i could have named them it seems that they base most of the names on silly mixtures of words or misspellings which is fine if they are accurate serperior as much as im a water fan is pretty dang cool i dont know why people dont like these guys samurott is still gonna be mine though
