Depression, anxiety, and lack of motivation. I've felt all of those over the span of this freaking pandemic.
Not to say the pandemic caused 'em, no... If anything, warning signs were building up for years, and I completely missed all of them.
Ironically, Celeste kinda CAUSED me to feel these things. But that curse was a blessing in disguise. For I finally realized I needed help - and actually was able to get it.
Anyway... I feel that. So hard. Celeste is my favorite platformer, if not my all-time favorite game, because of the sheer amount of impact it has had on me.

Also love the whole "mirror self" thing. "Reflects" my attitudes quite well.
I think I see a coincidental reference to the ying-yang. Intentional design or not, that further emerges things.
