The lack of Jowybean content over the last two days has not been expectable but that’s about to change.

Ignore my ranty recent journal entry from this weekend . Straight after i had typed all that up. I started working on this. Why well while doing pony art is fun and enjoyable. Yes I know the new MLP episode has arrived and there’s a song. But I wanted to take a break form pony for a weekend to draw some fan art based on another series I like.

K-ON! Was one of those Slice of life high school animes i watched at the start of this year and came away smiling from after season 1 . I found it rather cute and funny so much so that i got all the albums they released based on the franchise and own a couple volumes of the original Manga. Which i did not realize was where the concept for the anime started from. I sort of associate the show with FIM a little because of the characters personalities. I am positive i saw Dash and Fluttershy in both Ritsu and Mio with the way they played off each other .

K-ON! Is well worth a gander at its no more girly then MLP guys.

I also did this as experimentation in blending the anime style with my western cartoon style. if I am honest i am a real sucker for adorable and cute when it comes to designing female characters more then comic book sexy (not that theres anything wrong with that either) . that’s why I love female artists like Brianne Drouhard and Becky Dreistadt in my opinion they do cute really well.

I know I have talked a lot in this description but that’s the way I when I do something different to what I am known for doing.
