Starscream's brigade!
These are the "Combaticons" from the Decepticon side.
Onslaught [Leader - bottom right]
Swindle [top right]
Vortex [middle]
Blast Off [top left]
Brawl [bottom left]

This is my first time drawing all the Combaticons, I've always wanted to draw them!
I made the background scene on a island where a war brew long ago between the humans and it is where Starscream discovers the new bodies for the Combaticons.
It was a challenge drawing all of these characters but I had alot of fun!

I definitely roll with this. The details are nice, especially seeing the smaller parts and not just the more noticeable ones. I'm mostly referencing Brawl with that notion, as I think he had a few more details on him than the other Combaticons. Also...is it odd that I find it funny how Swindle is the ONLY member of the team who doesn't have a face plate, but an actual moving mouth?

Yes that was my idea and reason for drawing Brawl first in the close up he has interesting and nice details.
My thoughts on him having the only mouth, is to swindle his way with different beings and putting on cheeky smiles and deceiving smiles while dealing, the rest are very much more military based which is cool!

looks great, better than the show look actually. i like these guys, they got more screen time after the movie and showed how tough they were quite a lot. i only have 2 of them unfortunatly (swindle and vortex) i'd love to have the rest and defidently the new classics menasaur

Nice, they are great characters and that is true they did appear more in Season 3, however I think they showed more in Season 2. I think because in episodes like "The Revenge Of Bruticus" they prove to be such a threat against Autobots, Decepticons and Cybertron!

yeah they're the origonals, i painted the con logos and stickers back on thanks to a bit of model car paint and a very very quiet room lol. they were from my dad's childhood collection, so im suprised that they have very little wear. he left me those, gobot man o war(really cool looking ww2 battleship) g2 constructicons, g2 grimlock(totally love) and the arial bots

That sounds really cool how you can do that. Very nice! It's so rare to have G1 toys nowadays back in the days they were first released up until now and same with GoBots etc. G2 I never got into.

unlike most people i actually like some of the designs of the gobots. i have the g1 cassette bots on order now from ebay, rumble, frenzy, and buzzsaw. i started to get soundwave but i can't find a decent price for an intact version

Yeah I remember GoBots and I think my older brother had them back the same time as G1 toys they are cool.

Yeah try to get a pure good complete condition original Soundwave because it matters a lot especially have the cassettes with him.

yeah i wouldn't mind taking a pic of them, i need to upload mor photos of my collection any way, i really want to put my g2 grimlock on here, i don't know why he's my fav but he is. yeah a good sound wave is really hard to find, either the tape deck won't open any more or peics of the armor are cracked

yeah sure thing, i didn't upload cause the cameara didn't want to do right but i'll send you a link as soon as i upload them. i took a pic of my intact arial bots, the black one, slingshot and silverbolt, g2 grimlock, the dune buggy triiggercon, quickmix, man o war, first aid and g2 long haul

i have too many, wish the ones i liked from the show were still in their mint state, terrorsaur and megatron were frozen last winter in my attic(no heat in my house at all) so their right arms snaped off at the joint same thing happened to rat trap. so now i keep all my tfs in giant clorox boxws and duffel bags in my closet so i can keep an eye on them. itake the older ones out and move them around a bit so their joints on't get all stiff and fragile from neglect. my little brother got a hold of g2 grimlock while i as at work and gave him a bath in a mudhole so his screw joints on his legs are rusted and he has a lot of dried dirt all over his body, thought i was gonna cry

O man that's heart breaking! Yeah good idea because they are very fragile toys and their quality is original die cast not like these new movie toys. Ooo that's unfortunate! yeah careful for water too. Mostly my collection is always getting dust otherwise it's all good no wear or anything. When you send your photos of your collection how will you send them?

probally by note, i have a few in my scrapbook on here but i would rather take a pic of the whole collection, each era together so you can see how some look better than others. i was fortunate to take a pic of first aid beofre little bro swiped him, can't find him anywhere.. i like the quaility of most of the figures though, mastepeice optimus is just perfect in my opinion

Yeah I see them all now! O it's fine what ever is all good with you. I don't own one I wouldn't mind at all because it is well done, however as much as I love Optimus Prime I would like to see other Transformers characters be in masterpiece form but once again the business and selling point comes into thought.

they made the seekers in masterpeice form and megatron but you'd have to be loaded to own the megatron, ccost up there man! i'd actually like to see the cassette bots get masterpeices, think how cool it would look if frenzy and rumble had all diecast parts

Yeah I know but I also meant like the lesser known characters that don't get much attention, like we don't see much. Yeah I agree Soundwave and the cassetticons/bots. There is much popularity there for them to be made but oh well whatever comes around goes around!

yeah i know what you mean, they outaa make a nightbird(other than the impossible toys version)i like that episode enter the nightbird, she was the autobot's worst nightmare. plus i think huffer would make a cool one or mirage

I believe they are making a iGear version of Nightbird which outta be more articulate and better quality but I still own the ImpossibleToys version which is not too bad it's pretty accurate in terms of design.
