Description
Some of my TT scale (1:120) model railroad equipment passing through a virtual environment made from an editetd screenshot from the computer game 'Homefront: The Revolution'. The original screenshot was provided by Xanvast (www.flickr.com/photos/xanvast/ ). The dystopian atmosphere of a decayed neighborhood fits very well to a 'wrong side of the tracks' theme.Related content

Congratulations on creating such a wonderful piece of artwork.
Are you able to estimate how much time is needed to create such wonderful artwork?

The effort may quite differ between individual pictures. That particular picture just took a few hours. I had to separate the original screenshot into two layers, take a photo of the train models, release this photo from the background, putting it between the two layers, and perform a final rendering on the entire picture. On some other pictures, I work several days. An example is the picture below.
Here, the background picture was compiled from several screenshots and required extensive editing and rendering.
Some of my picures are not just virtual but real dioramas. Creating such a diorama can take months, since it may include making models of buildings and structures. However, after having finished such a diorama, you can use it again and again for photo session. Here is a typical example:
