Well, not that I was a fan of this character ...However, I think it's not fair to treat him with hostility just because of his crazy character.
After all, if we ignore the fact that you are repelled from it, because it would be a normal guy.

What crazy character??? The 03 version was nothing like his comic book counterpart who actuallyΒ had a crazy side to him.
