Strange trivia: the Sharktopus isn't the first shark-octopus monster to appear on film
the movie (Devil Fish) had a similar creature, but with such a low budget and pre-CGI so you could hardly see it.
and just for weirdness, several lakes in Oklahoma are said to be home to lake monsters that are horse sized shark-octopus hybrids...made even weirder not just because they are fresh water lakes, but also because they are manmade lakes.

Like everyone else I was intrigued by the beak thingie.. I was even tempted to redraw (steal your sexy idea and make it my own) it with a even lower 'beak' and call it Sharktopussy.. what can I say.. I'm a lil twisted like that..

It's his octopus beak. He had it, they just rarely showed it and I don't think he even killed anyone with it, sadly.
