Description
I loved the Wuzzles growing up, so I had to draw my version of Rhinokey.One of my favorite things about that ridiculous show was that no matter what two animals were combined, they always had a small set of wings.

This is a fantastic reinterpretation of the character! And I'm glad I'm not the only one freaked out by those little wings. Made me wonder if the Wuzzle origin story (never revealed) was less Dr. Moreu and more David Cronenberg... <

Say, ya ever noticed how with the good Wuzzles you could tell which two animals they were combos of (IE: Bumble-Lion was a bee/lion hybrid, Hoppo was a rabbit/hippo mix, etc.) but the bad guys are just vague reptilian...things?

Yeah, wasn't Croc a Crocodile/lizard combo? That's like combining an ape and a monkey. Of course that might explain why Croc and his gang were the exceptions to the little insect wings.

I dunno. I think I remember hearing somewhere that he was supposed to be a Crocodile/Dragon combo...Could be wrong, though.

Croc was a Crocodile/Dinosaur combo...hence, the name Crocasaurus.

According to the cartoon writers, Croc was a Crocodile/Dragon, Flizard was a Frog/Lizard, and Brat was... well he looked like a Horned Lizard/Taz-rip-off, but apparently he was a Bat/Dragon. Don't know if I buy any of this, but it says a lot that the antagonists were the only characters with any recognizably reptilian features. (And, as usual, the Wuzzle tie-ins other than the cartoons give them entirely different origins.)
