an advice other animators once told me, try to keep your 3d objects the same quality as the video. cus right now it seems the balls are standing out too much.
but nevertheless, great job!

Errki-AirCow [2010-12-21 12:35:07 +0000 UTC]

you should add some grain to the balls so the look lesss sharp

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

jsdu19 In reply to Errki-AirCow [2010-12-21 16:23:14 +0000 UTC]

yesyes i know , i think the better solution here is created the 3d video with a green or blue background for the render, and after i adjust with Vegas , i have tried it's good or i buy a mega HD camera it's a solution too

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Errki-AirCow In reply to jsdu19 [2010-12-21 19:18:39 +0000 UTC]

still even in hd i think a little hint of grain on the balls would add realism.
after a good lighting in the 3d scene ofcourse

Ooooooo

Now I've been playing around a little lately my self in blending animation & video. How did you do the shadows on the ground? I use Bryce video & real video, that's been loaded into Corel Video Studio 12.

jsdu19 In reply to systemcat [2010-12-21 10:48:19 +0000 UTC]

thanks with yours softwares it's not possible ... for the camera tracking you have differents softwares Icarus is free for example (tutos on the Web) , the software created a virtual camera and after you export this camera for Max,Blender,C4D,After Effect and others but no Bryce. After for use in C4D for example you created a background and a floor and you load your AVI or Quicktime movie in a texture , you apply (composition options)and you can created your 3d or 2d scene , you add a sun and you have the shadows on the floor
