There is a lightness and fragility to this shot, a sense of the thinness of the ice despite its opacity. The dark waters make for a good contrast with the whiteness. It would be nice to be able to see more of that ice-horizon, which could make for a spectacular shot.

I like this, the ice is very beautiful.
I think it might have been more effective if you were to recrop this shot to include more of the landscape/sky, to give this a sense of perspective. As it is now, you are forcing the viewer to look straight into the ground, and it is not a very open shot. It seems like it could gain a lot from expanding a little.
