Blindsight is a paradoxical phenomenon affecting some patients with disorders of visual perception: it refers to the unconscious visual perception of the subject, where people respond to visual stimuli that they do not consciously see.
The project doesn't aim to represent this syndrome but to rather get inspired by it. I also see a poetic parallel between this syndrome and the power of mystery in art. There is a fascination that I experience which some specific artworks: I can not fully "understand" them but I keep coming back to these pieces over the years, again and again.
