And Now... The Happier Alternate Ending to the Alternate ending where everything turns out better for everypony!
...Rarity soon succumbed to her disgusting sloth and fell asleep. Forgetting that falling asleep in a bathtub is never a good idea, she soon drowned in all of her gold coins. 5 months later, when her body was finally discovered, it had decomposed beyond recognition. She was carried away from her house in a GLAD bag to the back dumpster. The money found in her tub was then given to the Ponyville Orphanage, saving it from bankruptcy and saving the life of little Cough Blood. Sweetie Belle was upset at first, but after taking a good look at the cigarette burns on her left fore-leg, she quickly put it out of mind. Rainbow Dash was so happy to hear about Rarity's death that she involuntarily performed a quadruple-rainboom, she was then immediately accepted into the Wonderbolts. The happiness in everyones hearts over Rarity's death brought Scootaloo's parents back from the dead and they now live as a happy family. As soon as Rarity died, her hypnotic love curse on Spike was broken and he was finally free to pursue his TRUE love for Granny Smith. Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon learned from Rarity's mistakes that money can get you far in life, but it can't give you everything, so they bought homes for all the homeless ponies in Equestria. Hearing about Rarity's death just before she was about to stick her head in her oven, Cheerilie regained her faith in the world and now faces everyday with a renewed sense of optimism. Around the same time Rarity's body was discovered, All the Cutie Mark Crusaders got their cutie marks at the same time. Gilda apologized to Rainbow Dash about how much of a jerk she was and was able to rekindle their relationship, they now have a time-share. The Flim-Flam Brothers decided to stop enterprising for their own personal benefit and now volunteer at the soup kitchen every monday (even though their are no more homeless ponies). Without being distracted by Rarity's constant whining, Twilight Sparkle was finally able to finish her spell that cure any disease ever. Now their are no more sick ponies. Upon hearing of Rarity's death, the homicidal rage that was slowly building up within Fluttershy since filly-hood quickly faded away. Queen Chrysalis and King Sombra realized the errors of their ways and decided to use their powers of the betterment of pony-kind. Pinkie-Pie was finally able to face her family again and they were able to make amends. Inspired by this random act of justice, The leader of the Pony Rebellion shot and killed the tyrannical Royal Sisters at Pinkie Pie's "Rarity is dead" party. A democratic constitution was soon written and the government completely reformed. Equestria was then able to make peaceful relations with such races as the dragons, diamond dogs, and even changelings! Seeing Equestria's acts of peace from space, the queen of Aclaxis V in the Balinion Galaxy descended to the earth in her space-ship and allowed the planet to join the inter-planetary correlation of peace making philanthropists. Many brave ponies now journey through the cosmos searching for new world and new races to make friends with.. Hasbro (like Diamond Tiara and Silver Spoon), learned from Rarity's acts of greed and corruption. They then pulled and destroyed the Twilight-Alicorn episode, and the writers were able to make a better episode, revolving around Derpy Hooves. Derpy then went on to be the breakout-star of the show.
AND EVERYONE LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER!!!
(Until the Big Crunch happened and the universe ended.)

I just went through all of your comics. They're great, all of them. So serious and so moving. Great work. I have to commend you on your style too. It has something that catches the eye, but I can't quite pinpoint what.
Also, Rarity has something in common with Scrooge McDuck in this alternate ending.
