No worries! Jack bought one ticket to a show, but he said "tickets", like most people say when they buy one or more ticket. Diane thought that it indicated he was probably going somewhere with someone, like a date, so she asked if he meant "Tickets" as in plural, more than one, but forced Jack to admit, a single ticket, like every other aspect of his life. Jack is doing something by himself.
On a side note, I would personally love to go to "Weird Al's" latest tour myself, but posting comics online for free doesn't pay too well.
