Wonderful work! I like the way you draw the water in two entirely different styles, and the clouds being similar yet different.
The random balloons are awesome too. XD

mmmm i would use this--i like it a lot otherwise--if it didn't have balloons (i think they often easy trash creators, so i do not support them). but nice work!

awesome. I see the referance you have used for the wave, only because those waves are my friends ultimate favourite picture
Nicely done! - both of them really....but I like this one the most!

Im going to have to study more of those kind of pics to get some more inspiration. At first I had tried hand drawing waves without any reference and they ended up looking a bit like, well, floppy ice cream? Lol, then I decided to google waves, found that lovely image, and was able to get soemthing decent made
Thanks for commenting!

I haven't seen much work from you lately. Could be me
though - I've had some down-time with my machine, and
a lot of "recent work" here at DA passed me, as there
were LARGE ammounts of deviations that I had to sweep
trough to get to the bottom of it.
Your works are awesome as always thoug...I always want
to play around in illustrator after browsing your
gallery

Part of me says that you're right about the background being too much, but a larger part of me thinks that the other version is too plain.
A third part of me just wishes these were surf boards stuck in the sand.
In any case I think it's wonderful!

Lol, surf boards! That is a great idea!
I see what you mean about it being too plain, but at the same time there are alot of people who would prefer a simpler look for their desktop, and with having the 2 versions there is something to appeal to everyone

Yeah, thank you very much for offering a choice, I think that's the best way.
You're welcome for the comment.
Make those panels some surf boards and I'll fav it!
Ok, so I'll probably end up doing that anyhow!

The whole surf board idea, thats a nice one though. If I ever get better at creating scenes then Ill probably use it for something similar to this, but with lots more details

Yeah, it just came to me when I looked at the piece.
My personal opinion is that surfboards in the sand would look better with something simple, but then again I haven't seen what crazy thing you've come up with yet!
Oh, and I fav'd this one because of the balloons and the cloud. Something to think about if you ever do the simple/detailed thing again.

It was alot of fun to get into something a bit new for me, the way that those waves were made has me inspired to get more into a "painting" type style.
